Student Takeover

Students interested in participating in a social media takeover must fill out the form below and complete a Takeover Consent Form that outlines the following:

  • Public Nature of Content: Any content shared during a takeover will be public, meaning that anyone—including individuals outside of our community—may view, share, or comment on it.
  • Potential Use of Information: While we strive to create a safe and supportive online space, students should be aware that their content might be engaged with in ways beyond our control, including sharing by third parties.
  • Resources for Support: If a student feels that their content has been misused, harassed, or taken out of context in a harmful way, they are encouraged to report the issue to the following resources:
    • Wellness Center (for emotional support and mental health resources)
    • Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) (for concerns related to discrimination or harassment)
    • EthicsLine (for anonymous reporting of ethical concerns)
    • Dean of Students (DOS) Office (for general support and guidance)

By completing the form, students acknowledge their understanding of the public nature of social media and the potential reach of their content.
